Evelyn & Iris (operating as ei-ls.com, the "Site", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to information collected through the Site, our customer email, and in-person at our Nauvoo studio.

Account & order details — name, shipping & billing address, email, phone, order history.
Payment information — handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Customer correspondence — when you email us, the contents of that email and any attachments.
Newsletter — your email address, when you subscribe.
b. Information collected automatically
Device & usage — browser, operating system, IP address, pages visited, time on site, referring URL.

2. How we use information
To process and fulfill your orders.
To respond to your questions and provide customer service.
To send transactional emails (order confirmation, shipping updates).
To send marketing emails — only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
To improve the Site, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable law.
3. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we need to run our business, under contract and only for the limited purposes described:
Stripe — payment processing.
UPS & DHL — order fulfillment and delivery.
Klaviyo — email marketing (only if you opt in).
Google Analytics & Microsoft Clarity — anonymous site analytics.
Cloudflare — content delivery and security.
Law enforcement — when legally required.
4. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
Access the personal information we hold about you.
Correct or update inaccurate information.
Request deletion of your information.
Opt out of marketing emails or the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.
Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

5. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies:
Essential — keep your cart and login working. These cannot be turned off.
Analytics — Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Aggregated and anonymous.
Marketing — Meta and Microsoft Advertising pixels, only after you accept.
You can manage cookies via the banner at the bottom of the screen on your first visit, or in your browser settings.
6. Data retention
We keep order records for 7 years to comply with U.S. tax law. Marketing email lists are kept until you unsubscribe. Anonymous analytics are kept for 26 months.
7. Security
The Site is served over HTTPS. Payment data is handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers. Our staff laptops are encrypted, our admin accounts use two-factor authentication, and we follow the principle of least privilege internally.
8. Children
The Site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
9. Changes
We may update this policy occasionally. The "Effective" date at the top will change, and material updates will be announced by email to subscribers.
